Anne Barrett Swanson is Anne’s full name. Anne was born on December 3rd 1948. She was born in Coal City, Illinois. Anne had always wanted to be a scientist since she was taken into the laboratory at a hospital.

Anne had a bone disorder  it was called Osteogenisis Imperfectia which caused her bones to be like dry twigs and break very easily. Because of Anne’s disease she only grew to be 3 feet 7 inches tall her whole life!
