These resources were designed to be used as extra practice for students after they had already learned a concept. Most are homework-type problems and puzzles, set in a game-type format to make the practice fun.
Skipping Lesson 1 on installing Etoys, these supplements are based on the ten Waveplace "Etoys Basics" lessons and are described below.

Lesson 2, Supplies- presents small challenges to help students explore the supply box. Page turns are hidden until each challenge is met.
Lesson 3, Sketches- presents small challenges to help students work with the drawing tools. Tools include the eye dropper, the pen thickness, andthe eraser.
Lesson 4, Halos- helps illustrate the importance of drawing in layers. The demonstration shows what can happen if you don't draw in layers.
Lesson 5, Viewers- gives students practice with opening and using the viewer. Several small challenges are posed and page turns remain hidden until each challenge is met.
Lesson 6, Scripts- gives students practice with creating scripts. A "tool box" of tiles is present, and students drag the tiles into the scripts to get the object to complete the goal. Page turns remain hidden until each challenge is met.
Lesson 7, Variables- helps students practice scripting joystick and sliders.
Lesson 8, Tests- gives students practice with tests.
Lesson 9, Animations- helps review the steps to making an animation.
Lesson 10, Games- helps review making a game using the "turn toward" tile to create a chase. Part two uses a joystick to create a different kind of chase. Parts 3 and 4 help students to add scores, consequences, and other fun additions to their game.
